You can't spell lose without Looters

What has gone well for the Looters this season? Holding onto star plauyers? Why hello there Mr. Rudy Yan. Holding a record above .333? Not quite thanks to last sim. Well there have been the Hendersonville series, right Trav? The Looters on the whole have just been consistently bad.

However, that can all change soon. The Looters will have 3 first round picks including the #4 pick to change things up. The eligible players though make this draft look like an inflatable pool in shallowness. But let's not fret, with the fourth pick the Looters should be able to come out with at least one potential star.

On the big league diamond this have continued rocky. The team sports a 6-15 record in August and things don't look up. There have been a few bright spots though. 1B Nathan Lammas has transitioned well to the big leagues sporting a .913 OPS in 81 games with 12 homers. Also hitting well is fellow 1B Leonard Crowley with a .820 OPS and 29 homers. Finally rounding out the star power is RF Errol Hughes who has missed significant time to injury. He's got a .821 OPs despite a .217 average. He has his 22 homers to thank for that. In the pen Chris Woodruff has been the success story. He was acquired through the waiver wire early in the year and since coming to New Orleans has amassed a 2.85 ERA in 47.1 IP. Shame to Sacramento for giving up on him after a bad outing in the first sim of the year.

Things can only get better, right? It'll just take some time. Next on the horizon is the draft followed by free agency. You can rest assured the Looters will look to acquire some players that won't break the bank draft pick wise, but will help this team to step up a level.
